Another government issues a central bank digital currency

Lithuania is to issue its own Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). Population of Lithuania has been declining and it is predicted to be at the same level it was in 1960’s – 2.7million. However, it was the largest country in Europe in 14th century, so how times do change.
