The Malaysia Securities Commission (SC) has said that platforms and exchanges need to register with them by 1 st March 2019. SC is to start regulating Cryptocurrency trading as it encourages businesses to be part of Malaysia’s expanding digital economy. Datuk Syed Zaid Albar, head of the Malaysian Securities Commission, said:” The New framework is part of the SC’s efforts to advertise innovation whereas guaranteeing investor safety within the buying and selling of digital belongings”.
